Day 72: Grass

We have a lawn! Also, they are working on cutting some trees in the back to give us more of our yard. Now I hope it rains a lot to help the grass settle in. =)

Day 66: Water

Water is now running and toilets are flushing. All the bathrooms look complete.

Day 65: Driveway and Sidewalk

A little rain today did not stop the concrete from being poured for the driveway and sidewalk. Looks like it's solid already.

Day 62: Electricity, Heat and More!

It's been a busy week at the house, we walked into a cozy, heated (almost) home today with a fresh coat of paint on all the walls. We also have all the lights including the outdoor floodlights, outlets, security system and doorbell powered on. Vinyl in the kitchen, morning room, laundry room and bathrooms, and base moldings have all been installed.

Day 53: Cabinets

In love with the kitchen cabinets color, cherry java. It is the darkest color they offer that is real wood, not veneer. Also, fingerprintless.

Can't wait to start cooking and baking in here!

Honey oak for the basement wet bar. This will look great with the black countertop.

Day 52: Stones Complete

Looks beautiful! Just waiting for the shutters on the middle/foyer window and for the front door to be painted and the exterior will be complete.

Day 44: Pre-Dry Wall Meeting

All inspections passed today, insulation has been installed and we are ready for dry wall!

Oh, and we have a settlement date, Friday, May 2nd!!! :)

Day 32: First-Time Inside the House

So exciting to finally get to step inside our house! Plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical wirings are all in the works.

Day 31: Roof and Shingles

Roof and shingles installed. Also, the yard and driveway have been leveled and cleaned up. Looking good!

Day 30: Framing Complete!

Amazing how much they can do in one day!
